Nashki Corp

A technology and professional services company.

We work with organisations to plan, build and operate the systems their business depends on. The work is deliberately unglamorous: clear scope, careful execution, and systems that keep running after the project ends.

About

Most technology problems are not solved by adopting something new. They are solved by understanding an organisation's constraints well enough to choose the right thing — and then implementing it properly.

That is the work we do. We come in at the point where a decision has to be made or a system has to be built, we establish what is actually there, and we set out a sequence of work that can be delivered without disrupting what already runs.

Engagements are led by the people who do the work. That keeps decisions close to the detail and makes accountability obvious. When something is outside what we do well, we say so.

Capabilities

Engagements are usually a combination of these rather than one in isolation.

  1. Advisory and architecture

Assessing systems as they exist today, defining a target architecture, and setting out the order in which work should happen. Written up so it can be reviewed and costed, not just presented.

  2. Implementation

Building and integrating systems — infrastructure, platforms, and the connective work between them — with a migration path that accounts for the environment already in production.

  3. Infrastructure and operations

Provisioning, monitoring and maintaining the environments applications run on, including backup and recovery that has been tested rather than assumed.

  4. Security

Reviewing exposure, hardening configuration, and putting in place the access controls, logging and alerting needed to detect and respond to what matters.

  5. Documentation and handover

Runbooks, diagrams and working sessions so that the teams who own a system afterwards can operate it without us.

Why Nashki

Scope before solutions
We would rather spend time narrowing the problem than widening the proposal. Work that is well scoped is cheaper to deliver and far easier to verify when it is done.
Proportionate engineering
Established, well-understood technology by default. Complexity is introduced only where it earns its place, because someone has to maintain it long after the engagement closes.
Systems you can operate
Every engagement ends with documentation, access and a handover. Nothing we build should depend on us being available to keep it running.
Plain reporting
Progress is reported as it is, including when something is late or has gone wrong. Late surprises cost more than early bad news.
